The Association of Cultural Animators "Vaganti"

is a non-governmental organization, with 18 regular members and about 50 contributors and collaborators.

Those are mainly students, graduates and scholars from various departments of the University of Zielona Góra, mainly from the department of pedagogy with the specialization of Cultural Animation.

The aim of the association is to creatively explore scientific and artistic mostly theatrical findings of Polish Culture, its Slavic roots and its place in European culture.

The Association does this through:

• Preparing theatrical performances based on ethnographical and anthropological sources on Polish and Slavic culture.
• Cooperation between creative groups from the country as well as Europe, with similar interests in sharing the artistic and scientific experiences.
• Organizing joint artistic actions (performances, workshops) in the country and abroad.
• Popularization of the culture of other countries through artistic events - workshops, spectacles, publications.
• Organizing scientific conferences on cultural diversities, their identities, but also cultural European unity.
• Preparing informational and scholarly publications, wide spreading the activity of the association and illustrating the effects of scientific work.
• Cooperation with institutions and organizations supporting the Association.
• Activating cultural circles, especially High school and College teenagers.
